What a Crazy Week

What a Crazy Week

What a crazy week it's been here on the farm!  We have been scrambling to finish harvest ahead of the rain, but had breakdowns Every. Single. Day.
We are so close, but need about 2 more hours.  While all that activity was going on in the fields, the Heirloom Acres garden shop was undergoing a
transformation as well.  The few fall items remaining were removed, and Christmas has taken over.  In such a tiny shop, the change of seasons can
be an overwhelming process.  It always looks worse before it gets better.  Last year was our first year to be open for Christmas, so we entered into it
with some trepidation.  We thought it would be fun but weren't sure if our customers would think so.  Thankfully, it was well-received, so we are excited
for everyone to come out and see what's in store!  Last year, our open house was called The 12 Hours of Christmas.  We were open only 4 hours on
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  This year, we will be open during our normal hours on Friday and Saturday, plus 1-5 on Sunday.  We have tried to provide
a good mix of Christmas decorations, hostess gifts, stocking stuffers, as well just beautiful things to gift or keep for yourselves!  Come see us for
Open House or in the coming weeks--we will be posting new hours on Facebook next week.  The only difference in Open House and every other day
is this weekend we will have refreshments for your enjoyment!  We look forward to seeing you!
