When I started promoting our Heirloom After Dark event featuring clothing, the questions started coming. "Are you turning Heirloom Acres into a clothing store?",
"Can't you decide what you want to do?", "Have you lost direction?".
Last year when I ordered some bags from Myra, their clothing line, Bohera, caught my eye and ordered a dress and a pair of boots for myself. There has not a single time that I have worn them that I have not received compliments. They are just cute, well-made, and affordable. Therefore, I wanted to share them with my customers. I thought it would be something fun to do this fall, and I was right. We had a great time at the After Dark event, several people have purchased pieces either online or in-store and have already told me how much they are enjoying them.
That is what motivates me. I love to see people excited about their purchases from Heirloom Acres. Whether someone is pleasantly surprised to see I carry their favorite tomato plants, thrilled to get the last two Kimberly Queens, or just tickled to see I'm carrying jerky, it's all the same with me. I am always listening to my customers, and am constantly seeking out either the products they request or those I think they will love. My goal is for Heirloom Acres to feel like stopping by a friend's house. You're always welcome and you never know exactly what to expect besides a smile and a kind word. Those are two things you can always count on!
